Winner has yet to come forward

The West Side Nut Club Fall Festival wrapped up with a record high half-pot drawing. WNIN’s John Gibson has more:

The festival’s half-pot topped out at $1.63 million before Saturday evening’s drawing.

The winning ticket number is NC-5380161.

There’s no word yet on who holds the winning ticket.

The winner will share the jackpot with the Nut Club, who will use its half to cover festival expenses and to distribute to not-for-profits.

Nut clubbers, Midway employees, and volunteers dismantled the food booths and carnival rides on Sunday, and W. Franklin St. has reopened to traffic.
