Residents Have Opportunities to Speak to CenterPoint and Sewer Department Reps

Sessions planned for CK Newsome Center during heating season

Evansville residents will have opportunities to speak with representatives of CenterPoint Energy and the Water and Sewer Department about their accounts. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:

Mayor Lloyd Winnecke will host six Access to Service Fairs throughout the upcoming winter heating season.

The city says representatives from local assistance agencies and township trustee offices will also be available.

The events will be held at the CK Newsome Center, with the first one scheduled for Thursday, November 10, from 5 to 7 p.m.

METS will offer free bus rides for all passengers on event days.

A valid photo ID and a copy of utility bill are not required but might be helpful for some agencies.

The sessions will follow steep increases in heating bills last year, and ongoing rate increases for water and sewer.
