Four more COVID 19-related deaths are reported in western Kentucky, even as cases decline. WNIN’s John Gibson has the latest:
The Green River District Health Department recorded three fatalities in Ohio County and one in McLean County on its weekly report.
The district said the number of new cases dropped below 300 -- or about 40 per day -- last week.
The COVID-19 Community Level was medium for Daviess, Hancock, McLean, and Ohio counties, and low for Henderson, Union, and Webster Counties.
The department encourages residents to talk to a doctor about wearing a mask if you are high risk for severe illness, stay up to date with COVID-19 vaccines and boosters, and get tested if you have symptoms.
People with symptoms, a positive test, or exposure to someone with COVID-19 should wear a mask.
