The group Mental Health Matters has scheduled a forum on Saturday, September 24th, at the CK Newsome Center.

The group’s inaugural event in May marked Mental Health Awareness Month.

This month’s gathering marks National Recovery Month.

It will include a town hall featuring civic and organizational leaders fielding questions on mental well-being; a session on trauma, grief, loss, and resilience; a youth panel; a discussion on addiction and paths to recovery; and a mental health fair.

The event is free and open to the public with registration online at Eventbrite.com
