The four-year degree will begin next school year

The University of Evansville is launching a four-year degree in construction management. WNIN’s John Gibson reports:

The program will be housed in UE's School of Engineering and Computer Science, and applications are now open for the Fall 2023 semester.

UE says construction manager positions continue to grow in the tri-state and throughout the nation.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics predicts the management jobs will grow by 11 percent from 2020 to 2030.

In 2021, the median salary was nearly $99,000.

A construction manager is responsible for the planning, coordination, budgeting, and supervision of an array of construction projects.

More about the program and an application can be found at evansville.edu/construction.
