Storm Debris Drop-Off Site Opens in Evansville

John Gibson

Residents can drop off tree limbs at the old Robert Stadium parking lot

The city of Evansville has opened a tree limb drop-off site. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:

Residents and property owners who had trees and limbs knocked down during Monday night’s storms can drop them off at the former Roberts Stadium parking lot during daylight hours through Friday.

The city stresses only trees and tree limbs can be dropped off. Officials sat a police surveillance vehicle will be on-site, making sure no one dumps trash.

The city says the service may be extended beyond Friday, depending on volume.

Signs and directions will be posted.
