The Evansville Vanderburgh Public Library Foundation’s annual summer book sale is this Saturday. WNIN’s Sarah Kuper has more on the event and how it’s more than just a way to score cheap books:
Children’s story times, summer movie series, genealogy search services, and crafting connections – these are a few of the many activities funded by events like the annual summer book sale.
Saturday August 6th, people can search through tables set up at Washington Square Mall for books, movies, CDs and other resources. The price range is 50 cents to two dollars.
Library foundation members say there are things for all age groups. In the past, the sale has been cash only but this year credit card payments will be accepted for sales over ten dollars.
The sale starts at 10am and ends at 8pm.
