COVID-19 cases and deaths continue to rise in western Kentucky and southwest Indiana. WNIN’s John Gibson has the update:
The Green River District Health Department recorded three COVID-related deaths and more than 400 new cases in the past week.
The three fatalities were from Henderson, Daviess, and Webster counties.
The daily average for new infections rose to about 58 per day in the seven-county district.
Meanwhile in Vanderburgh County, 730 cases were added in the past two weeks.
The daily average for new infections during the past week matched the western Kentucky number, 58.
