Hundreds of new COVID-19 cases and one COVID-related death have been recorded in western Kentucky. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:
The Green River District Health Department tallied 352 new infections across the seven-county district last week.
That’s about 50 new cases a day.
The agency also recorded a COVID-related death in Henderson County.
Despite the numbers, the Green River District says the COVID Community Level remains low in all seven counties.
The community level is based on hospital beds being used, hospital admissions, and the total number of new COVID-19 cases.
