A long-standing restaurant in Boonville has closed its doors. WNIN’s John Gibson has the story:
On its Facebook page, Double D‘s Restaurant and Catering announced the closure of its Boonville location.
The post said the staff was “so very grateful to customers and employees that have become family and friends over the years.”
The post said it was in no way an easy decision, and the owners are “so sad to say goodbye.”
Double D’s – well known for its fried chicken -- said it will continue to take care of all booked catering events and will be reaching out to catering customers soon.
The Double D’s in Oakland City will remain open.
