Event will feature past and future cars

A non-profit is looking for electric vehicles to be driven and displayed in a car show this fall in Evansville. WNIN’s Sarah Kuper has more:

It’s always fun to see classic cars shined up and cruising through the city or on display for onlookers to learn more and admire. Now, a local environmental non-profit is adding a new element to the classic cruise-in – electric vehicles.

In October, Tri-State Creation Care – is hosting EVs for EVV on October 2nd . It will be held in conjunction with the Road Knights of Evansville’s classic car show. People who come can wander through vintage cars and make their way through to see and ride in the cars of the future.

There will be music, awards, kids activities and a half-pot drawing. Tri-State Creation Care is calling for electric vehicle owners or car dealerships to participate in the EV car show.
