The polls are open across Indiana. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:
Tuesday’s Primary Election will determine the Republican and Democratic nominees in this fall’s General Election.
In Vanderburgh County, Democrats are choosing a nominee for sheriff. The candidates are Jason Ashworth and Noah Robinson.
On the local Republican ballot, Vanderburgh County Prosecutor Nick Hermann is being challenged by attorney Diana Moers.
Also on the local GOP ballot, State Representative Tim O’Brien faces a challenge from Sean Selby for the Indiana House District 78 seat.
Several Republican incumbents face challenges across Indiana.
The state does not conduct an open primary. Voters must ask for a either a Democratic or Republican ballot.
You’ll also need a driver’s license or state ID card.
22 vote centers are available in Vanderburgh County.
The polls close at 6 p.m.
