Officials have announced the lineup for this year’s W. C. Handy Blues and Barbecue Festival. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:
Musical guests for the festival on Henderson’s riverfront include local bands Blues 4U, Boscoe France, and the Cold Stares.
National acts include Chubby Carrier and the Bayou Swamp Band, the Blood Brothers Featuring Mike Zito and Albert Castiglia, and Ronnie Baker Brooks.
The free festival is planned for June 15th through the 18th at Audubon Mill Park.
The event began 31 years ago and has become a signature event for Henderson.
