Monday is the last day to register to vote in Indiana's May 3rd primary elections. Early voting begins later this month. WNIN’s Sarah Kuper has more:
In the May 3rd primary, people can cast their votes in several races important to local government and community leadership – Vanderburgh County Sheriff, prosecutor, county council members and county commissioners. That’s among other offices.
Plus, several state senate and representative offices are on the ballot and one US Representative race.
People can vote in person on May 3rd but there are several opportunities to vote early by mail and in-person.
The Evansville Vanderburgh Public Library will host absentee voting in-person at five locations beginning Monday April 25 through Friday April 29th starting at noon. The locations are a venue for early voting but they are not an election-day polling place.
