Evansville’s public library system says it will offer sensory-friendly bags for library users. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:
The EVPL says it’s partnering with Driving for Change – Sensory Inclusion to provide the bags that include noise-canceling headphones, sensory activities, and more.
The library system the initiative was founded by Evansville Day School Senior Tyler Myers.
The effort strives to connect individuals with sensory-friendly locations and items throughout the community.
Tyler and his initiative finished in the top six finalists of the University of Evansville’s High School Changemaker Challenge.
