NWS says rainfall could reach 1-to-2 inches

Flooding is possible as rain and thunderstorms rumble through the Tri-State Tuesday. WNIN’s John Gibson has more:

The National Weather Service is predicting rainfall amounts of one-to-two inches, with locally higher amounts possible.

Forecasters say minor flooding could occur in low-lying areas.

Storms began moving through the Evansville area overnight, with frequent lightning and thunder.

Scattered showers remain in the forecast through Thursday, when the high temperature is forecast to reach just the low 50’s.

The normal high this time of year is about 60.
