The Tri-State faces a risk of severe weather Friday. WNIN’s John Gibson reports:
The National Weather Service is forecasting showers and thunderstorms across the region.
Forecasters say there is a slight risk of severe storms, with the primary hazard damaging winds.
The weather service also says hail and even a few tornadoes are possible in the region.
The storms are part of a cold front that will drop temperatures into the mid-30’s Saturday night.
Spring officially arrives on Sunday.
Forecasters say the potential for thunderstorms will return to the area Tuesday and Tuesday night.
