File

The latest deaths include 7 from Daviess County and 2 from Henderson County

Eleven more COVID 19-related deaths have been recorded in western Kentucky while infections continue to fall. WNIN’s John Gibson has the update:

The Green River District Health Department announced seven more fatalities from Daviess County, two more from Henderson County, and two more from Ohio County.

The agency added just 119 infections in the seven-county district during the past week.

The seven-day average fell to 17 new cases a day.

The department urges residents to stay up to date on vaccines and boosters.

The agency advises immunocompromised people talk to their doctor about wearing a mask or other precautions.

And residents are urged to follow CDC recommendations for isolation and quarantine.
