13 More COVID Deaths in Western KY; New Cases Continue to Slow

The latest numbers were recorded during a full week

13 more COVID-19 related deaths have been tallied in western Kentucky. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:

The Green River District Health Department said the fatalities were recorded over the course of a week, from February 21st to the 28th.

Five of the deaths were from Daviess County, four from Henderson County, one from Union county, one from Webster County, and one from Ohio County.

New infections continued to trend lower with 300 recorded during eight days in the seven-county district.

The daily average for new cases in the district fell to about 43.
