A swarm of drones will fly over Holiday World this summer. WNIN’s John Gibson has details:
The theme park in Santa Claus says 300 LED-lit drones will take off for a nightly show called "Holidays in the Sky."
The 15-minute show will celebrate Christmas, Thanksgiving, Halloween, and the Fourth of July and will conclude with a fireworks finale.
The shows will run from June 18th through July 31st.
Events and entertainment director Lauren Crosby says the drone show will feature animated light displays up to 700 feet wide.
Crosby calls it a custom show that will be unlike anything else in the world.
Holiday World is set to open to the general public May 14th with Splashin’ Safari opening on May 19th.
The park will begin hiring through virtual events March 4-6 and March 18-20.
