DeMoss' sentencing scheduled for Feb. 22

An Evansville jury has convicted a man on multiple counts of child molesting. WNIN’s John Gibson reports:

51-year-old Elmer Demoss Jr. was convicted Tuesday afternoon for molesting two victims under the age of 14.

In a release, the Vanderburgh County Prosecutor’s Office said the guilty verdicts followed a lengthy Evansville Police investigation that began in 2020.

Demoss was accused of inappropriately touching the underage victims.

His sentencing was set for February 22nd in Vanderburgh Circuit Court.
