COVID-19 has claimed another life in Vanderburgh County.
The Indiana Department of Health recorded the county’s 545th death of the pandemic.
The agency also tallied nearly 400 new COVID infections on the Thursday dashboard. 165 new cases were counted in Warrick County.
The number of hospitalized COVID patients across the 12-county region of southwest Indiana rose to 269 with just about 16 percent of intensive care beds available.
Statewide, the agency tallied 57 more COVID-related deaths and more than 6,600 new infections.
