Vanderburgh vaccinations are approaching 100,000, population is 182,000

Vanderburgh County is approaching 100,000 full vaccinations against COVID-19. WNIN’s John Gibson has the story:

The Indiana Department of Health recorded more than 200 new vaccinations in the county on its Monday dashboard.

The number has continued to rise slowly but steadily in recent months and stands at 99, 595.

Booster shots have been rising more dramatically, with more than 1,000 added in Vanderburgh County on Monday.

The county’s total of boosted residents has topped 45,500.

Across Indiana, more than 3.3 million Hoosiers are fully vaccinated with nearly 1.6 million boosted against COVID-19.
