Morales Convicted of Molestation, Attempted Voyeurism

A Vanderburgh County jury has convicted a man of sex crimes.

The Superior Court jury convicted 27-year-old Roel Amos Hernandez Morales following a lengthy investigation after the victim found a cell phone recording inside a bathroom.

The victim told police that Morales had also committed sexual acts.

Jurors convicted Morales of three counts of Child Molestation and one count of Attempted Voyeurism Tuesday evening.

After law enforcement recovered the cell phone, a data extraction was performed which provided valuable evidence in the investigation.

In a release, Vanderburgh County Prosecutor Nick Hermann thanked the jury for its decision.
