As of noon Monday, the Ohio at Evansville was just below 46 feet – nearly 4 feet above flood stage.

EPD recommends charges in murder case

A grisly picture of a dismembered murder victim and a juvenile giving authorities information on his father’s alleged crime is emerging in an Evansville murder case.

Already charged in a carjacking and murder earlier this month, Evansville police say they now have enough evidence to also charge 38-year-old Earl Bernard Martin Jr. in the murder of his girlfriend.

The dismembered body of 41-year-old Erica Bradfield-Fox was found last week in trash bags in the backyard of a home at 906 Bellemeade Avenue, and next door at 910 Bellemeade.
