A student anti-abortion group made a stop at U.S. Sen. Joe Donnelly’s (D-Ind.) office. They want Donnelly to support the latest push to repeal the Affordable Care Act which includes a provision to defund Planned Parenthood.

Students for Life of America President Kristan Hawkins says Donnelly calls himself pro-life.

“Then voting against funding the single largest abortion vendor in our country should be a very, very easy decision,” she says.

Donnelly: Trump supporting his workers bill

U.S. Senator Joe Donnelly of Indiana was one of three moderate Democrats to meet with President Trump at the White House Tuesday evening.

Donnelly was among a bipartisan group of senators that ate dinner with Trump. They discussed the president’s push to cut taxes for corporations and individuals.

Following the meeting, Donnelly called it “another good conversation with President Trump” about his proposal to address the outsourcing of American jobs.

Donnelly said he was pleased that Trump remains supportive of his End Outsourcing Act.

U.S. Sen. Joe Donnelly (D-Ind.) was one of just six U.S. Senators invited to a White House dinner Tuesday to discuss President Donald Trump’s tax reform agenda.

Political analysts say Donnelly’s inclusion is a boost to his reelection campaign.

In a statement, Donnelly called the dinner a “good conversation.” He focused on his proposal to address outsourced jobs and use tax reform to punish companies that send positions overseas while rewarding those who return jobs to the U.S.

U.S. Sen. Joe Donnelly pushed back Wednesday against criticism that his family’s company outsourced jobs to Mexico.

At a campaign event Donnelly held with Rexnord and Carrier union workers on outsourcing, Donnelly says his involvement in his brother’s company ended more than 20 years ago.

And he says when it comes to his 2018 re-election campaign, voters should look at what he’s done in Washington D.C.

“Look, I’ve voted against every single bad trade deal that ever came along. I’ve been fighting this battle for years and years and years,” Donnelly says.
