Vanderburgh County Commissioners want public input at a county road hearing scheduled for next month.

Commission President Bruce Ungethiem said the hearing will give the commissioners an opportunity to update the public about the commission’s road plans.

The public will also have the chance to voice their thoughts. Commissioner Cheryl Musgrave said she’s already received some public comments and is awaiting more.

“I look forward to hearing specific needs that the commission should take under advisement to address at our road hearing so I hope everybody can come,” she said.

The hearing will be held Aug. 3 at the Southern Indiana Career and Technical School beginning at 5:30 p.m.

Musgrave said if you can’t attend the meeting, you can call or email the commissioners to voice your concerns about county roads.
