When the nation’s first outbreak of avian flu this year broke out in Dubois County, WNIN-FM reported on the response and recovery for NPR as well as here on WNIN.
In the weeks following, the local, state and federal agencies handling the response couldn’t talk publicly about those efforts. But now, they are talking. Friday, at noon central time on The Trend, Samantha Horton and Steve Burger will be live from the incident command center in Jasper with comprehensive coverage of the Dubois County avian flu outbreak.
