The state of Indiana has released school accountability grades for the 2017-2018 school year.

Oak Hill Elementary was the only EVSC school to receive A’s from both the state and federal governments.
Four EVSC schools received A’s from Indiana but a B from the feds: Cynthia Heights and West Terrace elementary schools, and Central and North high schools.
Four local schools received failing grades from both agencies: Lodge Community School, the Academy for Innovative Studies, Dexter Elementary, and Glenwood Leadership Academy.
Three EVSC schools improved from F to D: Cedar Hall Community School, Delaware Elementary, and McGary Middle School.
Warrick County schools fared better generally, with straight A’s for Castle, Loge, and Sharon elementary schools, as well as Castle South, Castle North, and Tecumseh middle schools.
The lowest grade in Warrick County was a C from the feds for Tennyson Elementary. Indiana gave the school a B.
