A crash between two semis on the William Natcher Parkway south of Owensboro put one driver in the hospital and closed the road for a time Monday.
Kentucky State Police say a semi driving by Michael Williams of Greenfield, Indiana hit the back end of another semi driven by Randall Merritt of Carmi, Illinois. Williams' truck then crossed the median and the northbound lanes before hitting a bridge support column.
Williams had to be extricated from his truck. He was taken to Owensboro Health Regonal Hospital where he is listed in stable condition. Merritt was not injured.
