Par-K Seafood Starts A New Program

A local seafood shop is offering a new program to boost awareness of the quality of fresh fish.

Par-K Seafood of Evansville has started the program, which they're calling 21 Days of Seafood. According to the Courier and Press, Par-K owner Kenneth Parkman will have a different type of fresh fish each day. Parkman will teach the public about each one and how best to cook them.

Each week, Parkman travels to the Gulf of Mexico to get the fish off the boats as they come in. Par-K has earned a reputation for high quality, fresh seafood that is generally not available in local grocery stores. To join the program, you can call the store, or visit the store's website.
