Uber’s top competitor has hit the streets of Evansville.
Lyfthas launched its ride-sharing service in the Evansville area about one month after Uber moved into the city.
Evansville is one of more than 50 U.S. cities Lyft has added to its service list. Other new cities include Terre Haute and Carbondale, Illinois.
Like Uber, Lyft operates via smartphone app. Persons can request a ride and pay through their phone without cash.
Lyft says new passengers can receive $5 off their first ride by using the code LYFTLOVE17.
