HPD: Teen Carried Knives, BB Gun to Football Game

Police arrested a Henderson teen for allegedly carrying knives and a BB gun to a high school football game.

In a news release, the Henderson Police Department said staff members alerted officers working security at the game at Colonel Football Stadium Friday night that a young man had a knife.

School staff located and detained 18-year-old Jordan Sizemore.

Police say officers searched Sizemore’s backpack and found two knives, a BB gun that looked like a handgun, BB's, and three air cartridges.

Sizemore was arrested for Unlawful Possession of a Weapon on School Property and lodged at the Henderson County Detention Center.

It’s not clear if Sizemore had planned to use the weapons at the game.

No one was injured.
