The Vanderburgh County Coroner’s Office has released the identity of a man killed at an Evansville intersection.
Deputy County Coroner Steve Lockyear identifies the victim as 73-year-old Michael Latham of Evansville.
Authorities say Latham was hit by an SUV Wednesday evening as he crossed the street at the corner of Green River Road and Theater Drive.
The coroner's office says there was no evidence of drugs or alcohol involved in the accident, and the driver of the Jeep was fully cooperative.
Latham lived near the accident scene on Spring Valley Road.
